Kid reservations

Deposits now open for 2026 Nigerian Dwarf kids.

We maintain a small reservation list so every kid receives hands-on attention from our family (with lots of help from our 4-H girls). Deposits are $150 and are applied toward the final purchase price once kids are ready to go home at 8 weeks.

Due April 2026

Flashy moonspots, kid-friendly personalities, strong teat placement.

Reservation policy

Deposit is refundable only if we can’t provide your reserved kid within the season.
Kids leave with ADGA registration paperwork, CDT vaccine, and a starter kit for bottle or dam raising.
Pickup is on-farm in Southwest Ohio. We can help coordinate ground transport for additional fees.

Naomi Lane Dairy – Sales, Herd Share & Liability Policy (Ohio-Compliant)

We follow Ohio laws and regulations for herd shares, livestock sales, and on-farm pickups. Please review these terms before purchasing a share or reserving livestock.

Ohio Raw Milk & Herd Share Disclosure

Ohio prohibits direct retail sales of raw milk. Naomi Lane Dairy does not sell raw milk. Instead, herd share agreements give you an ownership interest in our herd so you can receive milk from animals you partially own.

You are purchasing a share of an animal, not milk.
Fees cover animal care, boarding, and farm services.
Milk received is a benefit of ownership, not a retail transaction.

Raw Milk Risk Acknowledgment

Raw milk is not pasteurized and may contain harmful bacteria. By joining the herd share or consuming raw milk obtained through ownership, you acknowledge the potential health risks, choose to consume raw milk voluntarily, and accept full responsibility for any outcomes.

Sales Policy

All sales—including herd shares, goat kids, and farm products—are final once payment is received.

Refunds may be offered only if:

Herd-share milk becomes unavailable.
A reserved kid becomes unavailable due to illness, injury, or death prior to pickup.

Refunds are not provided for buyer cancellations, missed pickups, change of mind, or personal circumstances. Herd shares represent ownership and ongoing care costs; monthly fees are non-refundable once billed. Missed pickups may result in forfeiture without refund.

Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with livestock ownership, farm visits, and raw milk consumption.
You understand farm environments carry inherent risks (animal injury, bacteria exposure, illness).
You release and hold harmless Naomi Lane Dairy, its owners, and affiliates from claims, damages, or expenses arising from illness, injury, or losses related to livestock or raw milk.
Naomi Lane Dairy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Acknowledgment of Terms

By completing a purchase or herd share agreement you confirm that you understand Ohio’s prohibition on raw milk sales, acknowledge you are purchasing ownership—not milk—accept all risks of raw milk consumption, and agree to this no-refund policy plus liability waiver.
